About Lauren

Hey, I'm Lauren.

I help people build lives that feel like theirs — lives that light the fire inside instead of slowly putting it out.

By trade, I'm a joy and purpose coach, thoroughly obsessed with helping people overcome the blocks keeping them from their most joyful lives. But it was a long, hard road to get here. Finding work that feels right and pays the bills and satisfies the image you've built of yourself is no small feat.

I spent twenty years building a career I should have been proud of, and it never felt like mine. For years I contorted myself to fit a tech career I thought I wanted, telling myself the next promotion, the next title, the next headcount would settle the squeaky wheel inside that kept saying this isn't it.

It would, for a moment. Then I'd be back to the same question: what am I actually here to do?

Eventually I got so fed up with asking, I sprinted. I tried everything I'd ever daydreamed about — I became a consultant, a podcast host, a coach, a facilitator, an event producer. All at once. Fiending for purpose, throwing myself at anything that might finally stick, and mostly just making it worse.

So I looked for help. I worked with therapists. Hired coaches. Joined group programs. Did plant medicine. Increasingly desperate for someone to hand me the answer.

No one did. (Of course.)

What I found instead was a better question.

Not what is my purpose? But what lights me up?

That question rearranged everything. It's the one I keep returning to in my own life, and the one underneath all of my work.

Now I work with people who are in that same strange middle:

People who have built lives they should feel grateful for, but can't shake the feeling that something is off.

People who are too responsible to blow their life up, but too honest to keep pretending everything is fine.

People who are exhausted from trying to optimize themselves into alignment.

My work isn't about giving you a five-step plan for reinventing your life. It's about helping you hear yourself again. I sit with people in the moments where something has to change, even if they can't yet name what that change is. I ask the questions that reconnect them to themselves. I notice the thing underneath the thing. I help them build a more sustainable relationship with joy, purpose, work, ambition, and being human.

If any of that resonates and you're in the thick of it, let's talk. Set up a first conversation, free of charge.
